Positively Editorial

What can a writer write for you?

Strictly speaking, a good writer can write just about anything you can imagine. However, most writers specialize in two or three categories. In addition to “general” writing and editing, I have three main specialties: clear, easy-to-understand language explaining technical concepts; people-focused marketing that values both customers and employees; and matching content to strict style guidelines.

Below are some examples of work I’ve done in the past. As you can see, there’s quite a range of possibilities even within one specialty!

Example projects:

  • Short and long-form website articles for search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Templates for item descriptions (Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, etc)
  • Text for brochures
  • Press releases
  • Ghostwriting emails
  • Company newsletters
  • Info-graphic text
  • Employee spotlights
  • Business proposals
  • Quick-start guides
  • API documentation

Concerned that you might not like the first draft? No worries! That’s what editing is for. Most projects I work on include two rounds of editing for free as part of the initial contract.

Not sure if your project is a good fit? Go ahead and send in an inquiry anyway. If the project isn’t within my scope, I may be able to refer you to a colleague who’d be a better match.
